All terrain Soldier
This model was created for a C4D Portal challenge. The brief was to create an all terrain combat solider from scratch.
The model was also set in an appropriate background scene with the help of photoshop

Future transport (VW Bug)
Also created for a C4D Portal Challenge. This was to create any form of future transport. The theme for this was a VW Hover Bettle. I really wanted to create a dynamic looking sense of speed image.. Inspiration also came from playing NFSU (need for speed underground) on the playstation, which can be seen in the high gloss reflections

Bird Eating Spider
The challenge on this one was to create a realistic looking animal, of any desciption. I wanted to create something unusual, with hairs. A big old spider fitted the bill perfectly. This was my first step into the world of hairs, I just love the natural effects that can be acheived with plugins like hair department

Logo Animation
Created for a software application start up screen, this was my first animation using cinema v6. The first design didn't have any volumetric light or spinning football. But as you can see from further tweaks in v8.5 the logo really shines!

Micap™ yeast cells
This image was created for the cover of an annual report, for Microencapsulation company Micap. The idea was to produce yeast cells with the word micap etched onto the surface.
The text was aimed to be very sutble, kind-of-like, I see the cells, oh and look there, is that writing on the cell wall?

Letter Animation
One of purposes of creating this piece was to learn more about the various elements that are neededto create a good animated short. It was also to send to a multimedia company who asked on thier recruitment web page ' . . . if you would like a job , tell us how you would make a difference'
